Turn your favorite cookie into your favorite shot! Creamy Snickerdoodle Jello Shots are the best of both worlds! They are among the best Jello Shot Recipes to share at holiday parties.

Cinnamon, spice, and everything nice – plus a splash of your favorite liquor – that’s what makes up these tasty little Jello shots.

They taste just like their namesake – sugary little snickerdoodles. Let me warn you, they are so tasty that you might forget they have alcohol in them.

One of the most iconic types of Christmas cookies is the snickerdoodle. You’ll find it on Christmas cookie trays, served at holiday parties, and even left out for Santa.

Snickerdoodles just taste like Christmas! But just like these Mini Snickerdoodle muffins, they are good any time of the year! They are slightly tangy and covered in a cinnamon sugar coating. It’s no wonder they are a crowd pleaser.

If you’re looking for a jello shot that you serve anytime (and it still fits in with holiday themes) then you’ve got to make these.

Best Type of Liquor For Snickerdoodle Jello Shots

What type of liquor tastes the best with these snickerdoodle jello shots?

In order to recreate the flavors of a snickerdoodle cookie, I used a combination of the following liquors:

  • Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Butterscotch Schnapps
  • Kahlua Coffee Liqueur

Yup, you read that correctly! I used coffee liqueur in creamy snickerdoodle jello shots. The slightly bitter notes in the coffee liqueur make the jello shots taste full and robust without being overly sweet.

One taste and you’ll probably like these better than the cookies!

Forget about boring jello shots, these sweet treats will be the star of your holiday party.

Another great shot with creamy flavor is this Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot – a dessert you can sip!

And take my advice. Use real Bailey’s Irish Cream. It will give the jello shots that creamy texture that you love!

Then, don’t forget to garnish them! Add some whipped cream, sprinkle with cinnamon, and place a tiny snickerdoodle bite on top! They are ready to serve.

Jello Shot Supplies

You don’t need very many supplies to make jello shots. Other than the plastic cups, you probably already have what you need in your kitchen.

Here is what you’ll need before you begin:

  • Large Bowl
  • Shot Glass (for measuring the alcohol)
  • Medium-Sized Pot
  • Whisk
  • 2-ounce Plastic Cups
  • Rimmed Baking Sheet

The rimmed baking sheet is optional. But I found that it holds all the jello shots. It’s easier to move them all without spilling them when I put them on a baking sheet.

You also don’t need cups that come with lids, but it really helps! If you’re going to store them in the refrigerator, the lids make it so you can stack them.
