How to Make These Adorable Snowman Pretzels
Making Snowman Pretzels is like making cute, tiny, and tasty winter wonders—it’s as fun as it is delicious!
For this magical snack, you’ll need pretzels (because what’s a snowman without a sturdy frame?), white and dark chocolate (for that frosty body and top hat flair), candy eyes, carrot sprinkles, black sparkle gel, and some festive Christmas sprinkles. These ingredients are about to transform your kitchen into a holiday workshop!
First, melt that white chocolate into creamy, dreamy perfection. Dip your pretzels halfway in, and suddenly you’re creating snowman torsos. Set them on parchment paper to chill—literally.
While they’re drying, melt the dark chocolate and get ready to style your snowmen with a chic hat and coat. It’s a snowman fashion show, and you’re the designer!
Here’s my personal favorite part: adding the eyes and noses! Dab a bit of melted white chocolate on the back of those candy eyes and carrot sprinkles, and stick them on like you’re assembling the most adorable snowman army. Tweezers are a lifesaver here—unless you’re aiming for abstract snowmen, which is a valid choice too.
For the finishing touch, grab your black sparkle gel and dot on a sweet smile. You can even get creative with little buttons or scarves using your Christmas sprinkles. The best part? There’s no such thing as too much sparkle when it comes to holiday snacks!
Once they’re dry, these Pretzel Snowmen are ready to steal the show on your holiday table. They’re almost too cute to eat—almost. Just try not to fall in love with every single one before they make it to the party!

Chocolate Pretzel Snowman
Ingredients
- 10 oz Ghirardelli’s white chocolate melting wafers
- 10 oz Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate melting wafers
- 56 pretzel sticks
- 16 candy eyes sprinkles
- 8 carrot candy sprinkles
- 1 tube black sparkle gel
- Christmas sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Melt white chocolate wafers as directed on the back of the bag. Defrost mode is usually best.
- Take six pretzels and place them together. Dip into white chocolate halfway up the pretzels and place them on parchment paper. Let dry.
- Melt dark chocolate wafers as directed on the back of the bag. Defrost mode is usually best.
- Dip the other half of the pretzels into the dark chocolate and place on parchment paper. To make the hat dip one pretzel stick into the dark chocolate and place on each snowman where the white chocolate and dark chocolate meet.
- Using white chocolate lightly coat the back of the eyes and noses one at a time and place them onto the snowmen. I use tweezers for this that I keep just for baking.
- Use the black sparkle gel to draw dots onto the snowmen. Let dry and serve.
