Mexican Charcuterie Board
Filled with all your favorite foods, a Mexican Charcuterie Board is the best way to bring the party to the kitchen table! It’s one of the best and most Festive Cinco de Mayo Ideas you’ll use!
A charcuterie board is the best way to feed everyone at a party! You don’t have to worry about which guests like what types of food. When you fill a board with an assortment of food, everyone is happy!
This board is filled with everything! From crunchy chips to spicy peppers and lots of zesty dips – it’s all here! And if there’s a Mexican finger food missing, add it! Charcuterie boards are notoriously easy to customize.
Whenever you’re planning a party, you’ve got to plan for at least one charcuterie board!
Not only does it feed everyone, but it saves you room, too! Instead of serving each of these tasty treats on separate platters, pile them all on a board together. It’s so much easier.
How To Customize A Charcuterie Board
This Cinco de Mayo charcuterie board is brimming over with dips and chips and all sorts of veggies and Mexican food. Even so, there are endless ways to change it up.
You can either follow my recipe exactly as I wrote it or customize it.
The easiest way to change this board is to use your favorite types of dip. I added six different types, but there are so many more types of guac or salsa than that! I love going to the Farmer’s Market and buying locally-jarred salsa, so have fun and buy something unique.
You can also add any decorations that you want, as well! Cinco de Mayo has tons of fun themes to go with it. Play around with the colors of the Mexican flag!
Have fun with this charcuterie board. Let your creativity shine!
How To Make A Mexican Charcuterie Board
Every single step for the charcuterie board is in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
First, I’ll share some more tips and tricks that will help you make a perfect board the first time.
Whenever I make a charcuterie board, I like to start from the middle and build outward. For the Cinco de Mayo charcuterie board, place the dips and chips in the middle and then add the peppers and veggies around them.
Then, fill in the gaps with fresh herbs, like cilantro. You can even add some dried hot peppers in the blank spots for decor.
The key is to try and fill up every spot you can. Since I added 4-6 types of dip, it’s really easy to fill up the spaces with more chips.
Have fun with the colors and theme of your board, too. While glass ramekins for the dip are wonderful, if you have some red or green ones, it will match the theme a lot better!

Charcuterie Board Supplies
You don’t need a whole lot of different supplies to make a stunning and attention-grabbing charcuterie board. These are the most important kitchen tools you’ll need to make and serve your charcuterie board.
If you want, you can get a small spoon for the salsa and dips.
How To Make A Mexican Charcuterie Board Ahead of Time
Usually, I’m all for making things ahead of time, but this board has dips that don’t save really well and are better when you make them fresh.
Avocados turn brown if you cut them too early. While you can always drizzle them with lime or lemon juice, they will still eventually turn brown. So, don’t make anything with fresh avocado too early.
