Best Type Of Food For Birthday Parties
The type of food that you make for your birthday party depends a lot on what type of party it is and how many people will be there.
For example, if you’re hosting a “baby’s first birthday party” for a one-year-old, then you might want to serve finger foods with mild flavors since there will most likely be children there.
But if you’re hosting a birthday party for an adult, then you can serve food that will taste good with drinks that are more creative and different.
That’s why I included such a huge variety of recipes in this list of birthday party foods. Scroll through the list and pick out the ones that look the tastiest!

Now that you know what types of food to make, let’s look at where to buy the party decorations and favors.
Where Can I Buy Party Supplies?
Sure, you can always get all of your party supplies at places like Walmart, Target, or Party City.
But have you thought about some money-saving places? First, ask people if they have anything you can borrow. You might be surprised at how much stuff your friends have that you can use!
Then, check out garage sales and thrift shops. A lot of people will buy party decor, throw the party, and then donate the supplies after using it just once.
Otherwise, I love to shop at both Etsy and Amazon. If I can, I prefer to support small businesses and crafters on Etsy.
If I’m pinched for time, I definitely take advantage of Amazon Prime and their two or three day shipping! It’s a stress-savor for me.
