Best Hummus Flavors

Don’t forget all the dips that you can pair with your charcuterie board! Some people just like to eat veggies and crackers alone, but dipping is my favorite part.

Adding hummus means that I can change the flavor of each dip, making it fun to try them all.

Also, don’t forget that hummus is a great filler for these snack boards because it looks great, pairs with just about anything, and offers ease of creation.

Making a healthy charcuterie board is one of the easiest snack recipes to make because it’s minimal prep work and time.

And if you can make this snack board recipe during the summer months, you just might be able to use some of your own goodies from the garden!

Keep in mind that the recipe below is a great guide, but you can add or remove any veggies that you don’t like. Some people might even want to add in meat – and that’s totally fine, too!

Don’t forget that spacing is the key when setting up the charcuterie board. You don’t want the ingredients to be too crowded.

How to Make a Vegetable Charcuterie Board

Start by gathering the ingredients that you need to make this easy snack board.

I use small bowls for the hummus and for the extra topping options or mix-ins.

Place the bowls in the corners and one in the middle, and then place the veggies and crackers around so that there isn’t any space on the board.

Don’t forget the tongs so that everyone can grab what they want! And that’s it – easy peasy!

What vegetables go best with hummus?

The veggie options can be endless for this recipe, but I do have a few favorites.

I’m all about adding asparagus, carrots, celery, and tomatoes – and don’t forget sliced cucumber!

Any vegetable that can be sliced and dipped is fair game.

You can always make this simple snack board once, and then change up the added veggies the next time.

You can also change the flavor of the hummus every time you make it as well! Having spicy hummus is a good kick of flavor!

If you plan on making this ahead of time, wait to add the crackers until last. The veggies and cheese should be fine to add prior to serving, but the crackers might be stale if added too early.

Just be sure to store the tray in the fridge, covered. I don’t recommend prepping this more than 24 hours in advance. That way, everything is fresh and delicious.
