Speaking of garnishing, the next section will discuss some fun garnish ideas to make your drink pop more!
Fun Garnish Ideas to Make Your Drink Pop!
As mentioned, decorating and adding garnishes are my favorite parts of making drinks! So, here are some fun ideas for your cocktail decoration:
Feel free to use shapes!
I like using cookie cutters to make fun shapes for my decorations! You can use a small star-shaped cookie cutter to create fun watermelon stars. They’ll float nicely on top and add a playful touch!
Elegant lemon twists
You can also experiment with the lemons! Try creating elegant lemon twists by cutting thin strips of lemon peel and curling them around a straw or chopstick. I usually place them on the rim of the glass for a classy look!
Fresh mint sprigs
Of course, putting fresh mint sprigs instantly improves the presentation of my drink! You can add a fresh mint sprig for a burst of green that matches the vibrant pink of the cocktail. Plus, the minty aroma will add to the drink’s refreshing quality!
Mini fruit skewers
Last but not least, I absolutely love these mini fruit skewers! It’s so cute and surely improves every drink. For this, you can skewer small watermelon cubes and lemon slices on a cocktail pick. It’s a fun and easy way to add both fruits to your drink! A must-try!
These garnish ideas will definitely make your frozen watermelon lemonade cocktail stand out. Have fun experimenting with these decorations and enjoy the extra flavor they bring!
