What Are Fall Themes
Before we get to the list of fall-themed snacks, let’s answer a very important question. What makes something “fall-themed”?
There are three things I looked for when adding snacks to this list. They were either fall colors, used fall ingredients, or had a fall image.
Just like the changing leaves, fall colors are bright red, orange, deep yellows, and reddish-brown. Things like the sweet potato fries and cheese crackers might not have fall ingredients, but the colors fit.
I also added snacks that use foods that pop up every fall, like apples and pumpkins.
And since November is technically still fall, I also included recipes made with cranberries, too.
And just in case you want to serve the snacks at a fall party, I included things with fall images, too. You’ll find snacks shaped like pumpkins and scarecrows!
These foods are so much fun to eat and so easy, too!
Let’s take a closer look at the different ingredients in these snacks and what makes them fit in with the fall theme.
Fall Snack Ingredients
What types of food are stereotypically found in the fall?
For starters, you’ll see a lot of snacks made with candy corn and candy pumpkins. Those are a quintessential fall treat!
Next, you can’t make it through fall without some pumpkin treats! If you love to bake, grab some canned pumpkin in bulk!
And since Halloween is in the fall, I made snacks with Halloween M&Ms and Rollos.
You’ll also find a bunch of snacks made with fresh apples and even some mixed nuts.
