Easy Caramel Mojito Recipe

The sweet and smooth caramel flavors in this Caramel Mojito dance on your tongue! It’s a creative twist and one of my favorite Mojito Recipes.

Forget about complicated mixed drinks. This recipe is one of the easiest ones yet! All you have to do is mix up a few simple ingredients and it is ready to drink.

If you love the fresh flavors of mint leaves, then try it with some caramel syrup. It’s amazing how smooth and delicious this bubbly drink tastes.

Is caramel a fall flavor? Thanks to caramel apples and caramel lattes, it has a reputation as a fall thing.

But this sparkling mojito tastes perfect any time of year. Enjoy it at a fall party or mix it up on ice during the heat of summer.

Anytime is the perfect time for a caramel mojito.

Best Rum

What is your favorite rum to use in a mojito?

Honestly, you can never go wrong with Bicardi – especially in this sweet drink. It’s a light rum, so it won’t overpower the caramel syrup.

But if you like your drinks to be stronger or have a bold flavor, then try it with a dark rum.

You can even balance the rum flavors by adding a bit more club soda.

The only way to know which type of rum is best is to try a few different ones and taste them. Then, stick with the one that tastes the best to you.

For this mojito, I suggest using Bacardi Superior Rum. It’s really mild and lets the other flavors stand out.

Always Use Fresh Mint

Fresh mint is what sets a mojito apart from other mixed drinks. The only way to get the boldest aroma and flavors from it is to use fresh mint leaves.

I suggest picking the fresh mint off a plant before you make the drink. You’ll notice a difference!

If you don’t have any fresh mint, you can also use some mint extract or mint syrup. Whatever you do, don’t skip the mint.

After all, mint and caramel are incredible together.

This recipe is one of my favorites because you don’t have to muddle the mint! All you have to do is add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker, mix them up, and pour them into your glass.

It’s so easy!

Club Soda or Sparkling Water

What is better for a cocktail? Some people like tonic water, while others prefer club soda or sparkling water.

I like club soda. It has a milder flavor. I find tonic water to be too bitter.

This is another ingredient that you can swap for your favorite choice. If you think it tastes too bitter, add more caramel syrup.

More Great Mojito Recipes:

There are so many different ways to make a basic mojito. Here are some of my favorite mojito recipes.

Don’t forget to garnish your drink. This is the fun part! Another garnish option would be to add some slice of apple – just like a caramel apple! Great for fall.

And if you’re looking for something a little stronger and delicious try this Apple Pie Moonshine.

Add a decorative straw and some fresh sprigs of mint. That’s it – your drink is ready!
