Do you love Nutella? Your going to love these no bake Nutella Haystacks Cookies! I have to admit I had never tried Nutella until I decided to try incorporate it in this recipe. My daughter kept telling me how amazing it tasted…she was right! This year I made these Fall Haystack Cookies and these White Chocolate Valentine Haystack Cookies – so cute for seasonal celebrations or for the family. So, how could I go wrong with Nutella? You’ll just have to try them…and they’re no bake!
1 11oz. Bag Chocolate Chips (milk chocolate, semi-sweet or dark) I used milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup Nutella
2½ to 3 cups of chow mein noodles
Chopped Hazel Nuts
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the chocolate chips on the stove. Remove from heat. Stir in Nutella until well blended.
2. Add chow mein noodles and stir to combine fully.
3. Drop a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on a sheet of wax paper or foil. Sprinkle with heart sprinkles. Let sit for a few hours until the chocolate hardens. Makes about 15 to 20 haystacks. I made them in small batches – about five at a time sprinkled them with chopped hazelnuts then made more. That way the nuts stick to the chocolate before hardening.
Store in a sealed container layering with wax paper!
