Christmas Cookie Exchange

Here is a photo of my invitation to the cookie exchange. I explained how I made them in an earlier post.

I found this pretty green ribbon that coordinated with the invitation, added a thin red ribbon and a red gem to make a napkin ring.

I served a simple Italian casserole, salad and bread sticks. I made these “star butters” by softening the butter and pressing it into a rubber ice cube tray. After refrigerating they popped right out.

I had these decorative paper squares for each person to write down the kind of cookie they brought. I used a hole punch and threaded a bamboo skewers through…they were placed on each cookie tray.

Everyone brought such wonderful and beautiful cookies.

Everyone then circled the table picking up cookies from each tray.
