Teacher Appreciation Gift with Printable Tag
The school year is coming to an end and I am always looking for something to send in for the teacher and aides in my son’s classroom. Usually, it is a pretty pot of flowers…nothing is easier, but this year I thought I would make a Teacher Appreciation Gift with Printable Tag.
Along with the tag {YOU ARE THE KEY TO MY SUCCESS!} I stenciled and glittered KEYS on a mason jar – then filled it with chocolate. This is a simple and unique way to show the teacher a little appreciation and say goodbye to the school year!
The download for the printable tag is at the bottom of this post.
Mason Jar | Mod Podge Key Stencil | Jute or ribbon | Mod Podge | Mod Podge Spouncer | Glitter | Burlap | Printer | Hole Punch
Position key stencil on the mason jar – using the spouncer dab on Mod Podge. Remove the stencil and sprinkle with glitter – let dry. Once dry, use a small dry paintbrush to gently brush away any extra glitter.
Repeat for the second key. Try not to touch the sticky stencil on the first glitter key. Also, wash off any extra Mod Podge from the stencil between each use and let dry.
After the keys are dry, use the hole punch and tie the tag with the jute or ribbon. Fill with your favorite candy!
Labels have blank lines for your child to fill in the teacher’s name. These would also be great for any aides or classroom helpers…and don’t forget the tutor!

I also used this key stencil to make Burlap Glitter Leaf Napkin Rings!
