Sex on the beach is one of my favorite cocktails, and I found a way to turn this delicious mixed drink into a party-ready jello shot.
Everyone loves jello shots! I know I do. Forget about those crazy shots that are just pure liquor and burn like crazy.
These jello shots taste like pure dessert. They are fruity and so colorful that they almost become part of your party’s decor!
Sex On The Beach Jello Shot Ingredients
I tried to recreate the sex on the beach cocktail into a fun jello shot, so I kept the main ingredients the same.
For the jello, I used orange jello. I think the citrus flavors mix well with the rest of the ingredients. You could also use peach jello (but I think that might give the jello shots a really strong peach flavor).
For the alcohol, I used vodka and peach schnapps. Trust me and use a good quality vodka. The smoother it is, the better the shots will taste.
Unsweetened cranberry juice will give it the bright red color.
Then, don’t forget about the garnishes! I added maraschino cherries, sliced oranges, and a bit of whipped cream. The cherries and whipped cream are just flirty enough to fit on top of a shot named after sexy time.
These fruity jello shots are perfect for anyone that loves to party but doesn’t want anything with a strong alcoholic flavor.
How To Make Sex On The Beach Jello Shots
Even if you have never made Jello shots before, you’ll be able to make these. It’s so easy. The hardest part is waiting for the jello to set.
First, make sure you have Jello shot cups. They are the exact size you need when you serve them to your guests.
Then, make the orange jello. Whisk boiling water into a bowl with the orange jello. When it is completely dissolved, add the alcohol and cranberry juice.
Add this mixture to the shot cups.
Then, just let them chill in the fridge until you are ready to serve them.
Wait until just before the party to add the garnishes. See? It’s way easier than you think to make incredible Jello Shots!

Sex On the Beach Jello Shots
Equipment
- 20 Jello Shot Cups
- Mixing Bowl
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Orange Jello
- 3/4 cup Boiling Water
- 1 cup Cold Water
- 1/2 cup Vodka
- 1/2 cup Peach Schnapps
- 1/2 cup Cranberry Juice
Garnishes
- Marachino Cherries
- Orange Slices
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Add the orange jello in a large bowl.
- Whisk the boiling water to the jello, continue whisking until the jello has dissolved. Add cold water, stir until mixed.
- Add the vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice.
- Continue stirring until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- Fill the shot cups to the rim.
- Place the filled shot cups in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Top with fresh whipped cream, maraschino cherries and orange slices.
