Everyone loves fun little snacks, don’t they? So grab the printables and make some little bait bags.

Then, you can bait a leprechaun or just enjoy the snacks.

What Is Leprechaun Bait

Leprechauns are little supernatural beings in Irish folklore, often classified as fairies that live alone.

They are said to chase after rainbows in search of the pot of gold that is sitting at the bottom. But they are sneaky little creatures, so you’d have to set a clever trap to snare them!

So, leprechaun bait is usually something sweet and related to St. Patrick’s Day.

Fill small plastic bags with something sweet – like Lucky Charms cereal – and then seal them with a leprechaun bait printable. Kids will love them!

Be creative with what you put inside the bags. I’ll give you some ideas below.

But you don’t have to follow my example. You can make something homemade or even place some little rainbow erasers inside the bags!

Basically, think of anything that’s related to St. Patrick’s Day, a pot of gold, or leprechauns.

If you don’t mind a bit of sugar, they even sell just the Lucky Charms marshmallows. Imagine how fun it would be to get a bag of that!
