I’m busy whipping up some last minute Halloween treats for my son’s class and decided to make these easy Chocolate Marshmallow Ghost Treats! Are they not the cutest!! Like the crazy mother I am, I had to create a printable topper to seal the bag. And to make it even easier for you, I included it below as a FREE printable! Yay!

SUPPLIES:
24oz. Bag of Nestle White Chocolate Morsels – 1 to 2 bags depending on how many need to make
10 oz. Bag of Miniature Marshmallows – 1 to 2 bags depending on how many need to make
Candy Eyes
Parchment Paper or Non-stick Foil
Wilton Pops Favor Bags – 12 per bag
Cardstock for Boo topper
Stapler or glue plus scissors or xacto knife.
INSTRUCTIONS:
It takes approximately a half cup of chocolate morsels and a half cup to make one chocolate marshmallow ghost treat. I hate to say it, but I melted and mixed them one at a time. It still doesn’t take long to make one once you get the hang of it. You could maybe make two at a time, but the chocolate begins to harden so don’t make a batch!
My other tip is to use a microwave safe dish. I first tried a ceramic bowl and it was a major failure! The bowl was so hot it was cooking the chocolate, and it became hard as a rock…down the drain it went. I then used a small corning bowl and it was just right…smooth, creamy chocolate!
Measure out the morsels and the marshmallows a little less than a full half of cup (just below the rim – not mounding or you will have too much for one ghost). Pour the 1/2 cup of chocolate into the bowl and microwave in short increments stirring between until smooth. Be very careful not to overcook! I usually start at 40 seconds, then 20 then a little more if needed. Sometimes just mixing it melts the chocolate a little more in place of overheating.
Add the 1/2 cup of marshmallows and stir to coat.
Spoon onto parchment paper creating a larger round are at the top swooping to a curled tail at the bottom. Flatten any lumpy marshmallows with the spoon. Before the chocolate begins to harden, press the eyes into the chocolate. Let sit for an hour or so until chocolate is hardened.
There you have it – Chocolate Marshmallow Ghost Treats!
Print out the Free Printable Bag Topper and attach to the bag with a stapler or glue. I actually stapled the bag and glued the topper overtop. That way the ghost stays in place.
Let the ghostly fun begin!
