I found a sweet little white Japanese teapot at my local thrift store. I used markers to paint simple little poppies, based on an inspiration found on a sleepsack made by PurePixie. A simple little project, with a big visual impact!

Images of old photos chosen from The Graphics Fairy were altered and tinted. The images were printed on cardstock and Mod Podged onto poster paper. Using scrapbook paper and bits of lace and trim each image was embellished. They were framed in old chrome sign frames which had been spray painted.

Ditch the toothpicks and embellish a jar for an avocado seed. Add some ribbon and a tag and use it as a gift. Hopefully one day it will be an avocado tree in somebody’s yard.

Make a butterfly feeder jar just in time for spring. Add sugar water and hang upside down. The nectar will soak into the string or sponge in the lid. Now just wait for the butterflies to stop by for a drink.
