With that, I listed some fun activities you can do with them while baking cupcakes!

  • Learning shapes and colors: Engage kids by encouraging them to spot shapes and colors in ingredients and decorations!
  • Mixing ingredients: Let the kids take turns stirring and mixing the batter, whether with a hand mixer or whisk, making it easier for them to handle lighter batters. And, don’t forget to assist them!
  • Reading recipes:  Read the recipe together, read it aloud, and discuss each step and ingredient. It’s a very simple activity but helps build the fun and learning!
  • Decorating their cupcakes: Create a mini decorating station with frosting, sprinkles, and decorations! Then, you can watch them customize and personalize their different cupcakes!
  • Taste testing: And of course… last but not the least is taste testing! This is surely the best part of baking cupcakes.
