Twinkie Mummy Treats For A Party
Ingredients
1 box of Twinkies
1 bag of Ghiradelli white chocolate melting chips
1 package of small edible eyes
1 disposable piping bag a Ziplock sandwich bag would also work.
1 cookie sheet fitted with wax paper
How To Make Mummy Treats
- Unwrap the Twinkies and place them on the cookie sheets, set them aside.
2. Melt the chocolate and then fully coat the Twinkies.
3. Place two eyes onto the Twinkies.
4. Place Twinkies onto the wax paper and place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
5. While the Twinkies are hardening, scoop the rest of the chocolate into a disposable bag.
6. Cut the tip of the bag so that small lines of white chocolate come out. Be sure to cut a VERY SMALL TIP…you can always cut the hole larger.
7. Pull out the cookie sheet with the Twinkies and take the piping bag and drizzle back and forth with the chocolate to give the mummy the wrap effect.
8. Let sit for 30 minutes to harden before serving.
To turn these into Mummy Pops simply insert a decorative Halloween straw or large lollipop sticks into the bottom of the mummy. So easy to pass out to the kids!
