Summer Camp At Home

Kids love structure. Even though it can be fun to just tell them to find something to do, that can also be kinda stressful too (who knows what they will come up with!).

A summer camp at home is a fun and creative way to give kids the structure they need when they aren’t at school. In fact, you don’t have to spend a ton of time in camp each day – you just need to have something during the day that they know they will be doing.

That’s why I created this printable planner. This is both for you and the kids! Parents, you can use this to structure your summertime and create themes for each week. Keep reading and I’ll tell you all about it.

Activities For Summer Camp

There are two ways you can use this printable planner.  You can either create themed weeks for your family, or you can work with other parents and share the responsibilities.

If you get together with other parents, you can each take a different week. It’s less work for you, and your kids get to hang out with their friends. It’s a win-win!

Printable Summer Camp Planner

This is what’s included in the printable planner.

Weekly Themes

There are 9 weeks, and each week has its own theme. Under each weekly theme, there is a list of the types of things to teach, along with arts and crafts they can make that go along with the theme.

Each week also includes fun exercises/movement games that match the theme, and movies and podcasts they can watch too.

Supplies Shopping List

The shopping list is split up into categories. You can shop for each type of supply or split it up among the parents that are doing it with you.

Weekly Meal Plan

Every camp has to have meals, right? Use this printable weekly meal planner page to write down all the meals for each week. There is also a space to keep track of a shopping list too.

Blank Themes & Activities Page

I also included a blank themes and activities page for you. Use this page to create your own theme. If you want, you can make it religious-themed or even themed around a character trait that you want to teach.
