A Great Way to Turn 50!

Sorry, I took a little break! Something big came up (or maybe just a big number) but I tuned 50 last week! I don’t know what it is about turning 50, but you feel like you need to be doing something big! So a few weeks back, I planned a little cruise for my mother, daughter and I…just couldn’t bear to be looking at snowflakes as I hit the big 5-Oh! And sure enough we had to fly out a day early to miss an incoming snow storm! Winter just won’t go away this year!

Ahhh…but this is what I was looking at.

And there were a few fabulous excursions…

My mom turned 80 this year! Hope I make it that long!

And blue water beaches…

And most of all, no snow…

This can only be the start of a good year!

I have been on a lot of cruises and I have to give Norwegian Cruise Line credit for a wonderful experience. The freestyle dinning was wonderful as you could go to dinner when and wherever you wanted and the entertainment was better than what I have seen on other ships. The food was good…I can’t say exceptional, but good.
