Do you ever forget about some of your favorite recipes? Me too! This easy and delicious party Pesto Pinwheel Appetizer was one of my go-to recipes a couple of years ago…and then I forgot about it! I have made this a few times and it got rave reviews. With just a few ingredients this party pesto pinwheel recipe is easy to put together in a pinch…your friends will love it!
It’s always a bonus when it looks like it took more time than it did and tastes great. Pretty for the holidays too!
Oops…I almost forgot to tell you about this Layered Sun-dried Tomato Artichoke Spread. It also uses pesto and is a party favorite!
Unroll crescent dough into two long rectangles; seal seams and perforations.
Spread each with pesto; sprinkle with red peppers and Parmesan cheese.
Roll each up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side. With a sharp knife, cut each roll into 10 slices.
Place cut side down 2 in. apart on two ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with pizza sauce. Yield: 20 servings.
