My dog gets “Frito Feet” when he eats any type of sugar or molasses which is in a lot of treats. So I’m always looking for recipes. This one fits the bill the only problem is I didn’t have whole wheat so I used almond flour. It turned out very sticky and hard to manage. I kept adding flour just to be able to handle the dough. I also added 1/2 banana. Thinking now maybe I could of cut the milk down. My dog and I gave it the taste test and gave it 4 paws up! Will tweek the next batch.
Hi Liz, I do find almond flour different to work with when baking. I’m glad the recipe worked out for you!
