Today, I am going to show you How to make Fairy Bread – it’s so easy! Fairy bread can be made many different ways. This is going to be more of a fairy bread sandwich. I love this because it can be sent to school for lunch on occasion. A few sprinkles are sure to brighten a kiddos day!
Fairy bread started as an Australian kids party treat traditionally made with plain white bread, butter and sprinkles. I have a few other suggestion and options on what to fill the fairy bread with besides lot and lots of sprinkles.
My version is going to more of a sandwich. If you like to serve the kids healthier bread than feel free to use what’s best for your family. You do not need to use white bread and butter.

I really like the idea of using a cookie cutter to cut a shape in the fairy bread. A heart is always nice but other shapes are fun too! If you are using this for a party treat than find a shape that might work with the party theme.
I have used peanut butter and jelly in this fairy bread recipe but cream cheese or Nutella are also great options! Rainbow sprinkles taste good with just about any sweet filling.

Directions On How To Make Fairy Bread
Place cookie cutter on the corner of one slice of bread and press down.
Spread your filling along with jelly on another slice of bread.
Now place the slice on top and fill cut out area with a thin layer of sprinkles.
If making the night before, place in sandwich bag and refrigerate.

- Two slices of bread
- Peanut butter **Also works great with cream cheese or Nutella!
- Small cookie cutter
- Sprinkles for cookies
