Halloween Skull Candle Holders
I love Halloween DIY. These dollar store Glam Halloween Skull Candle Holders I made a few years ago for a party are one of my favorites. For a couple of years I hosted a adult Glam Goth Halloween Party for my friends. It was easy for people who didn’t want to wear a costume as they could just come to the party wearing black…who doesn’t own something black! Anyway, I had seen a few tutorials on using Dollar Tree candle sticks plus glass cylinders and turning them into very cool candle holders. It was easy to add my Halloween spin to them!

I bought the glass cylinders and the candle sticks from Dollar Tree. A couple of the candle sticks were shorter to make my finish candle holders varying heights. Gorilla Glue worked perfect to attach the base to the cylinder. With an assortment of skulls, sparkly trims and feathers I decorated the containers. No two were alike!
On several of them I used a sparkly tulle and attached a felt skull coaster from Wilton that I found at Joann Fabrics. I then attached all the different trims to create seven different designs. Some of the expensive trims I bought in June at 75% off…who buys skulls in June…I do!
UPDATE: This is a re-post of this project. I was asked where to find some of the trims used to decorate the candles. Using a google search I came up with these that are similar. The items I used originally came from Joann Fabrics. I am not sure they are carrying these trims at this time.
