Noisemaker Craft For New Year’s Eve

Make this noisemaker craft a fun New Year’s Eve family activity. Kids will love ringing in the new year with these easy DIY noisemakers!

Noisemaker Craft Supply List:

Jumbo Popsicle Stick

Jingle Bells

Craft Paint

Paintbrush

Foam Sheets

Paint Pens or Markers

Craft Pom Poms

Glitter Chenille Stems

Tinsel Garland

Curling Ribbon

Craft Glue or Hot Glue {hot glue should only be used by adults or with adult supervision due to possible burns}

New Year's Eve Noisemaker craft supplies.

DIY Noisemaker Instructions:

1. Paint popsicle stick desired color, let dry.

Paintbrush with teal paint painting a tongue depressor size popsicle stick.

2. On the sheet foam, use a glass or jar to trace desired size circles on the foam – cut them out.

3. Use markers or fine paint pens to write the New Years’ messages. Add dots or other graphics to the foam for decoration.

4. Use small tinsel garland or tinsel chenille stems to glue around the back of the foam circle. Glue to one end of the popsicle stick.

5. Place a little glue on the back of your decorated New Years’ message and glue it to one of the ends of the popsicle stick.

6. About an inch or so below the round foam New Years’ message, glue a jingle bell onto the popsicle stick. Add some curling ribbon or tinsel chenille stems to make your New Year’s Eve noisemaker sparkle!

Add any extra tinsel garland or chenille stems to the back of the New Years' message.

Apply additional decorations according to the desired theme – if adding tinsel, attach from the back of the stick.

 

Ring those bells at midnight to welcome in the New Year!
