Valentine’s Day Drinks

I bought this beautiful mug for my daughter for Valentine’s Day. I found it at TJ Maxx…one of my favorite stores. There was a whole set of dishes to match…these would have been just lovely for a Bridal Shower. They have the words love and amour written on them. I thought I would fill it with candy and a gift card and wrap it up for her. She loves hot chocolate and this will be just perfect.

Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe

1 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp. sugar2 tbsp.
water1 c. milk
a bit of vanilla, if desired

Combine cocoa, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Heat it on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the paste from sticking to the pan. After about 1 to 2 minutes, add milk and vanilla. Mix it all together until it reaches your preferred temperature.

I found these cute heart shaped marshmallows at the Dollar Tree last week.

This drink looks so delicious…I love Baileys.

Bailey’s Cool Raspberry

2 ounces Baileys Original Irish Cream
8-9 raspberries
Crushed ice

Place 4-5 raspberries at the bottom of a rocks glass and lightly muddle them.
Top with crushed ice.
Add Baileys Irish Cream.
Garnish with three speared raspberries.
