Scary Halloween Party Bathroom
Let me apologized if this creeps you out. I don’t like scary anything…haunted houses, movies, images…nothing! I look away, close my eyes and even put my hands over my ears if need be. I just don’t need to see that!
BUT…
A few years ago I hosted a Halloween party, and most of my decorations were more on the glam side with glitter skulls, rhinestones and feathers except the bathroom! Yup, I went a little gore here.
Just close your eyes here, I promise there is no scary music!

Supplies:
Dollar Store Plastic Shower Curtain or Amazon
Dollar Store Plastic Bathmat
Red Craft PaintMini Strobe Light
I seriously enlisted my daughter to do this…
Head out to the yard. Lay out the show curtain and the bathmat in the grass. Take a washable {red paint may stain a white container} or disposable pan and pour in the red paint. Dip hands in first making sure they are well loaded with paint and place one at a time on the shower curtain dragging toward the bottom. Place the first hand about a foot down from the top and the next hand a little lower to give it a “gripping” look! Add a few extra splatters of paint.
Next, step into the pan and then onto the bathmat. Again, stagger the feet, so it looks as if someone stepped out of the shower. Extra splatters are a must! Dripping blood is never neat!
Secure the shower curtain with extra hooks or tape will do. Then behind the shower curtain place the battery operated Mini Strobe Light for a frightfully good scare!
Sorry for the blood and guts, but if you are having an adult party this Scary Halloween Party Bathroom is a must! And it’s cheap! Add a ghost cling to the mirror as well.
Wow! Super Scary – but love it!!! Pinning!
Glad you love it, Jeanette! It is kind of creepy…just good Halloween fun! Thanks for the pin!
What an aweful cultural festival you Americans have. Please go and read up about where Halloween originates from. It comes from a festival housted by satanists, a witch festival. Now it is made to be a playful, party event. Please go and do research about this. More disturbing fact is that even churches celebrate this festival in America.
Susan, great tutorial! A super easy and cheap way to spook-ify my house for Halloween! I will probably have to wait until my Little Miss A is no longer a toddler before I try this one out. Thanks for sharing 🙂

ha ha! That’s awesome! This is better than those bath mats that change to look like bloody footprints when they’re wet since, you know, you won’t have to keep making sure it’s wet to be scary! ha ha
This is awesome! I’m not into scary stuff either, but this is great! Thanks for sharing!
