It’s a really big shoe…and a cheap one at that! So, one day I was wondering through Dollar Tree just seeing what interesting things they might have when I spotted this learn to lace shoe in the baby area. I thought how great this would be for a little toddler party. You could print out the simple lace up instructions from the internet and glue them to the back for future reference.
Besides the shoe I picked up some matching plates, napkins, cups, plastic utensils and this orange scalloped edge baby blanket. All items were a dollar each.
So, here is what I did with them. I laced up the shoes and placed the plastic utensils inside. It held them perfectly…so cute. I also printed out my sons name and glued it on the shoe…instant place card for each child! I added a piece of scrapbook paper trim around the cup to match the plates.
The orange blanket was used for a tablecloth. Use scrapbook letters to spell out shoe or other cute sayings…like…one, two tie my shoe!
