Kids Thanksgiving Turkey Craft
Today, I am sharing this fun Kids Turkey Craft that serves two purposes…something fun for the kids to make and a fun way to decorate the kid’s table for Thanksgiving Day! Actually, the adults might like them too!
Take the pressure off planning Thanksgiving by using this complete guide and Thanksgiving planner!
Supplies: Wilton Baking Cups in red, orange and yellow | brown pom poms found at Michael’s | Glue | Yellow paper
You would think you could find baking cups in all kinds of colors everywhere…but you can’t. I had to buy this 300 count of colored cups at Joann’s for the red and orange and this 3 pack of blue, yellow and red from Walmart for the yellow. Joann’s may have the 3 pack, but I can’t remember. I spent hours looking for the correct colors so go to where I found them and save yourself some time! 🙂 I better start making a few batches of cupcakes and muffins soon!!
These are so easy to make. First cut the baking cups in half. Then layer and stagger the cups starting with the yellow. See photo number 3 where I left about 1/8″ of space between the colored cups…glue them together. Then glue the brown pom pom onto the front of the yellow cup and attach the beak. I cut the yellow beak out of the bottom of the yellow cups, but you could use any yellow paper.
