Fall Flower Garden Tour
I thought I would share something a little different with you all today…this breathtaking Fall Flower Garden Tour! A feast for the eyes especially if you love mums. There were so many varieties of mums and the hanging baskets were huge! Unbelievable, really! I ventured with a friend last week to our local conservatory, mostly to work on my photography skills, but I thought…these needed to be shared!
When you first walk in there is this beautiful open space where you can take a few steps down into a sitting area. From there, you can take pathways to different rooms or go through the brick arches where they have a fabulous garden train display.
As we ventured into the room to the right there is a winding brick pathway, it is filled with pink and purple mums. Beautiful eye candy! I wish I could tell you the names of the mums, but I didn’t write any of them down. I was focusing {no pun intended} on my photography.
One of my favorite mums was this one above. It reminds me of seeing a fireworks display…bursting with color at the ends. There were huge hanging baskets everywhere…bigger than me! My husband would say…that’s not very big! {wink}
This is another unbelievable room to walk through – bursting with orange and reds. Cascading mums flow from atop the brick walls down the entire sides of the room. There are brick water features down the center decorated with pumpkins and cornstalks. As you can see…tons of mums!
Yellow mums adorn this fountain area with tropical foliage.
This is a spectacular room where you can host weddings. It is gated off, but gorgeous to look at.
This room below is also a gated room featuring a waterfall in the back flowing into a stream.
There is a kid friendly room where we found a few burlap scarecrow hanging out. They have a vegetable market set up for kids to play and usually a craft to make.
I hope you enjoyed this beautiful fall flower garden tour! It’s easy to get lost there for hours at a time. A very tranquil place to visit especially during the week when it’s not crowded. Fun for kids too! If you have a favorite mum, leave me a comment and let me know?!
My friend and I also spent a lot of time in the orchid room…that’s a post of it’s own!
Hope your day is creative!
Linking to these wonderful parties!
