Santa Nutter Butter Cookies

  • Add the almond bark to a microwave safe bowl, and heat for 30 second increments, stirring well between, until melted.
  • Line a cutting board or baking sheet with parchment.
  • Take a nutter butter cookie, and dip one end of the cookie to make Santa's hat, and the other end just a bit more to make his beard. Let the excess almond bark drip off. Sprinkle the red sanding sugar over the end to make his hat. Place onto the parchment.
  • Quickly add a white chocolate chip for the hat puff.
  • Use a toothpick to add a bit of the almond bark to the back of your red candies, and place them onto the nutter butter to make a nose.
  • Repeat this for two eyes made from the mini chocolate chips.
  • Repeat for all of the nutter butters.
  • Allow the cookies to set for 1 hour for the almond bark to set.
