Chai Tea Latte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 chai tea bags
  • 1 T raw sugar
  • 8 ounces really hot water
  • ¼ cup half and half
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  • 1. Put tea bags in hot water and steep for 3-5 minutes. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • 2. Put half and half in a microwave safe jar (mason jar works best for this) and heat for 45 seconds.
  • 3. Place the lid on the jar and using towel (jar is hot), shake the jar for 10-15 seconds.
  • 4. Pour the frothy milk over the tea and scoop all the foam out on top. 5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and more raw sugar.
  • Note: If you have a milk frother, you can use that instead of the jar and shake method.

Notes

For a dairy-free or vegan option, use any of your favorite non-dairy milk options, like oat, almond, soy, or cashew milk, and your favorite vegan sweetener.
