  • 10 pickled chili peppers
  • 12 - 15 crackers or graham crackers
  • 12 pretzels
  • 2/3 cup mixed nuts
  • zucchini tail

Instructions

  • Lay out the cheddar slices on the board in half circles in the shape of a pumpkin. Use 2 cheese stoppers on the right and left sides in the form of inconspicuous strips so that the slices are laid out in a half-sphere.
  • Add the zucchini tail twist or use the stem of a small pumpkin to complete the pumpkin shaped cheese slices.
  • Fold the salami in half and in pairs. Fold the right corner, then the left one, to create an elegant rose. Fold the remaining slices of salami in the same way.
  • Peel the washed and wiped cucumber. Cut off the ends and slice the cucumber into circles. Pat the cucumber circles dry with a paper towel.
  • Fill the right side of the board with cherries, place a stick of crackers next to it. Arrange the salami and cucumbers. Place the pickled peppers at the bottom. Continue filling the board with crackers, pretzels and nuts. Top the cheese pumpkin with dill.
  • You can create a spectacular treat without long preparations, just combine seasonal products, play on contrasts and add a little imagination. Our elegant board is already on the table. Serve it with a glass of wine, mulled wine or warming tea with spices and enjoy the season!

How To Make The Pumpkin Cheese

  • Purchase an 8-10 oz block of cheddar cheese.
  • Using a 3.5" round biscuit cutter to cut the cheese into a round shape. Then cut the circular cheese block in half.
  • Then take the two halves of cheese and cut into 1/8" slices of cheese.
  • Lay out the cheddar slices on the board in half circles in the shape of a pumpkin. Cut two small blocks of cheese from the extra cheese.
  • Use the two small cheese blocks on the right and left sides in the form of inconspicuous strips so that the slices are laid out in a half-sphere. They help hold the base slices up of the board.
  • Add the zucchini tail or faux pumpkin tops.
