- 4 oz white rum
- 2 Lemons juiced
- 12 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 4 tsp Sugar
- 8 ounces Soda Water
- Ice Cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Mint Sprigs for garnish
Start by juicing the lemons. Cut them in half and squeeze out the juice into a small bowl. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves and sugar together. This will release the mint’s flavor and combine it with the sweetness of the sugar.
Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and rum to the cocktail shaker. Stir well to dissolve the sugar and mix the flavors. Fill 2 glass with ice cubes.
Pour the rum, mint and lemon mixture over the ice. Top the glass with sparkling water. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint.
