Enjoy this fiber-packed healthy strawberry banana sorbet when you are trying to cut out sugar and still want something sweet.

Ingredients

– 1 1/4 pound Strawberries Frozen – 2 Bananas Ripe – 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract – 1/4 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

– Allow frozen strawberries to sit for 10 minutes at room temperature. – Add strawberries to a blender and blend on high in 30 second intervals until there are no large chunks left.

– Next, peel and add bananas then blend in 30 second intervals until well combined.

– Add vanilla. Pour almond milk in 1/8 of a cup at a time. Blend in between until you get a thick but smooth texture.

– Pour mixture into a metal loaf pan and place in freezer until solid.

Serve with fresh berries, bananas or even a dollop of almond whipped cream!

The main reason I called it a sorbet is because I froze the entire mixture in a loaf pan and scooped it out like ice cream. It tastes just like frozen yogurt – without the dairy!
