Orange Jello Layer
- 3 OZ Orange Jello 1 Box
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
- .5 Cup Cold Water
- .5 Cup Orange Vodka Or Regular Vodka
Black Jello Layer
- 3 OZ Grape Jello 1 Box
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
- .5 Cup Cold Water
- .5 Cup Black Vodka
Orange Jello Layer
Using a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Using a medium bowl, combine the boiling cup of water and the 3 oz of orange jello. Whisk until combined and the jello powder has dissolved.
Whisk in the cold water and the orange vodka.
Using a measuring cup with a sprout, fill each condiment container half way full.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Black Jello Layer
Using a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Using another medium bowl, combine the boiling cup of water and the 3 oz grape jello and whisk until the jello powder is dissolved.
Whisk in the cold water and the black vodka.
If not using black vodka stir in a drop or two of black gel food coloring until a black color is achieved.
Slowly pour the black jello onto the orange jello once it is set.
Place into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Make sure the orange jello layer is firm before adding the black jello layer.
Vodka Substitutions:
Plain vodka may be used in place of orange vodka.
Plain vodka can be used for the black layer but you will need to add a drop or two of black gel food coloring (used for cakes) to make the grape jello look black.
