Nutella Haystacks Cookies

A tasty no-bake haystacks cookie made with Nutella.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz chocolate chips 12 oz. bag milk chocolate, semi sweet or dark choclate
  • 3/4 cup Nutella
  • cups chow mein noodles up to 3 cups
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts chopped

Instructions

  • 1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the chocolate chips on the stove. Remove from heat. Stir in Nutella until well blended.
  • 2. Add chow mein noodles and stir to combine fully.
  • 3. Drop a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on a sheet of wax paper or foil.
  • Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
  • Let sit for a few hours until the chocolate hardens.
  • Store in a sealed container layering with wax paper!

Notes

Makes about 15 to 20 haystacks. I made them in small batches – about five at a time sprinkled them with chopped hazelnuts and made more.
That way the nuts stick to the chocolate before hardening.
