FALL CHOCOLATE HAYSTACK COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Chocolate Chips milk chocolate, semi sweet or dark
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 to 2½ cups of chow mein noodles

Instructions

  • 1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the chocolate chips on the stove. Stir often until the chips are fully melted then stir in peanut butter until smooth. Remove from heat.
  • 2. Add chow mein noodles and stir to combine fully.
  • 3. Drop a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on a sheet of wax paper or foil. Sprinkle with leaf sprinkles. Let sit for a few hours until the chocolate hardens. Makes about 15 to 20 haystacks. I made them in small batches - about five at a time, sprinkled them, and made more. That way the sprinkles would stick to the chocolate before hardening.
  • Store in a sealed container layering with wax paper!
