Equipment

  • Kitchen Scissors
  • Toothpicks

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Sliced meat like prosciutto, salami or ham
  • 1/2 pound Sliced Cheese like provolone
  • 1 Round Brie Cheese
  • 3 BabyBel Cheese Rounds
  • 1 log Goat Cheese
  • 1/2 pound Asparagus blanched
  • 1 cup Grapes
  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 1 cup Raspberries
  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Nuts
  • 1 cup Cucumber sliced
  • 1/2 cup Olives
  • 1 cup Dried Apricots
  • 6 Deviled Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Whole Grain Mustard or honey
  • Fresh Rosemary Sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Make The Roses

  • Slice the meats and/or cheeses in half. Lay the slices flat and slightly overlap them.
  • Roll the sheet tightly from one end to create a central bud.
  • Then, arrange additional slices around the bud, gradually forming layers to resemble rose petals.
  • Secure the layers with toothpicks as needed. Finally, shape and fluff the petals to achieve a more realistic rose appearance.

Arrange The Board

  • Place the Brie in the middle. On the brie round, place one round of babybel. Prop the other two rounds of babybel under the round of brie.
  • Cut and shape the goat cheese into two ears. Place the ears over the brie.
  • Arrange the remaining ingredients in a balanced manner across the board to resemble a garden. Fill in any empty spaces with rosemary sprigs.
