- 16 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup whipping cream heavy
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Start by placing your chocolate chips into a medium size bowl.
On the stove top in a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, bring the heaving whipped cream to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
Pour the hot cream into the bowl of chocolate chips and stir until the chips are melted and smooth.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or over night.
After chilling, remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Use a small spoon or melon baller to shape the chocolate mixture into small balls. Place back into the refrigerator to chill for a couple more hours.
Coat the chocolate truffles with a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder. Place back in the refrigerator until set or serve right away.
