Ingredients

  • 16 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup whipping cream heavy
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  • Start by placing your chocolate chips into a medium size bowl.
  • On the stove top in a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, bring the heaving whipped cream to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
  • Pour the hot cream into the bowl of chocolate chips and stir until the chips are melted and smooth.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or over night.
  • After chilling, remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Use a small spoon or melon baller to shape the chocolate mixture into small balls. Place back into the refrigerator to chill for a couple more hours.
  • Coat the chocolate truffles with a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder. Place back in the refrigerator until set or serve right away.
