How To Make Candy Bark

  • Rubber Spatula
  • Double Broiler
  • Disposable Piping Bags
  • Wooden Skewer

Ingredients

  • 1 bag White Candy Melts
  • 1 bag Blue Candy Melts
  • 1 bag Red Candy Melts
  • 1 bag Patriotic Skittles
  • 1 bag Red & Blue M&Ms
  • 1 bag Patriotic Star Sprinkles
  • 1 bag Mini Oreos

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to the lowest temp (170).
  • Line your cookie sheet with wax paper and set it aside.
  • Cut a few Oreos in half, set aside.
  • Add some water into 1 pot and place onto the stove on medium to high heat.
  • Place the second pot on top and add the white candy melts.
  • Using the rubber spatula, mix until fully melted.
  • Pour chocolate onto the wax paper and use your spatula to spread the candy melt.
  • Wash out the top pot and dry thoroughly to melt the red candy melt.
  • Once the red candy melt is melted, add into 1 one of the piping bags.
  • Repeat with the blue candy melt.
  • Place cookie sheet into the oven for 5 minutes to soften the white candy melt.
  • Once both the red and blue candy melt have been melted, pull out the cookie sheet from the oven,  cut the tips off the bags and drizzle the colors around the white candy melt on the sheet.
  • Using the skewer, pull through the candy melt to make a Chevron effect.
  • Place some Oreos around the candy melt.
  • Add some red and blue Skittles, M & M’s and the star sprinkles.
  • Let sit for 30 minutes before breaking and enjoying.
