Kitchen Chalkboard made from Clipboard

I needed a place to record things I ran out of in the kitchen. I decided the best way to do this was to use a clipboard and some chalkboard paint. I first stained the edges and back of the board so that I could later distress it. Then I painted on four coats of chalkboard paint. I created some “chalkboard art” writing with a white paint pen. Finally, I sanded the edges of the board to give it a worn, used look. Now I have somewhere to record what I need to remember to buy, and the clip works for holding coupons!
