Easy Super Bowl Party Ideas – Steelers Theme Party

I love these easy Super Bowl party ideas that feature our favorite team the Steelers!  If you are going to host a fun party this year, feel free to use our inspiration below to create a fun-filled Super Bowl party for your friends and family on the big game day!

This Super Bowl Party inspiration comes from the last time the Steelers were in the Super Bowl.   Of course, any of these ideas can be applied to any team or child’s football theme party. Picking up simple items, in team colors, is enough to get the theme going. Paired with great game day food and the party is a success!

Easy Super Bowl Party Ideas – Steelers Themed

I hit the dollar store and Joanne’s with little expense. These pennant shapes are made from scrapbook paper and peel and stick letters. They are so simple to cut out, and a great crafting project to do with the kids.  In fact, they are in themselves one of my favorite Super Bowl party ideas we have come up with yet!  Just a few dollars and about five minutes and we had great table runners, banners and fun pennants to wave! I hung a matching banner from the

I hung a matching banner from the chandelier and together it spelled “GO STEELERS.” I bought sparkly gold gift bag tinsel, then using one vase inside another,  I placed the tinsel between the two vases and added fresh yellow roses. I had a few black feathers, so I added them for contrast in with the roses. I also happened to have some green felt that I used as a table runner. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can add the white yard lines to the felt, giving it the look of “the field.”  Chalk is a great way to do that, and it washes out easily so you can use the table runner for other things in the future!
I used this great football print scrapbook paper and wrapped it around my candle holders and also lined the drink tray. This might be one of my favorite Super Bowl party ideas!  Using matching football stickers, I applied them to plain yellow napkins, tying it all together.

I borrowed the great yellow and black glassware from my mother and added a contrasting ribbon to each stem. You can probably find plastic or even paper cups at your local dollar store for cheap that could be used in a theme color for your party.  Create identification markers by writing the name of each person on the ribbon with a sharpie, or using my easy wine glass charm tutorial to create a fun way to keep track of what glass belongs to whom!
