21 Nutritious and Healthy Breakfast Smoothies

If food doesn’t seem very appealing during the first part of the day Healthy Breakfast Smoothies are a simple solution to avoid stomach growls before lunch.

Not everyone is a breakfast eater and there’s nothing wrong with that but I’m sure we can all use a bit of fuel first thing in the morning, right?

A healthy breakfast smoothie can be made with a huge variety of ingredients plus they’re a great way to sneak in some greens which you’d probably avoid eating raw.

The beauty of making a smoothie is that you can customize it to your liking, so if there’s some ingredient you don’t like you can just swap it for something else or even remove it completely. I really enjoy this antioxidant frozen berry smoothie.

I know you think berries need to be fresh to be healthy but frozen ones are good for you as well.

Here are some of my favorite healthy breakfast smoothie recipes – I’m hoping you’ll find at least a few you love! Not a smoothie lover…here are a few other breakfast options!

  1. OMG Susan! You just described me. The thought of breakfast when I first get up is, let’s just say, not appealing. This is great for me to do because I can drink, but I just can’t eat. When I was working I used to bring some cereal with me. By the time I got to work, I could eat and thank goodness I had my own office so I had privacy. Now that I am retired I don’t know what to eat and most times skip breakfast which I know isn’t good. I am definitely saving this!

    1. I know what you mean, MaryJean, I use to be a cereal eater but not much anymore. I often don’t know what to eat either…enjoy the smoothie recipes!
