I am typically not a big fan of plain yogurt…well, it just doesn’t taste good. I am not a fan of all the sugar in a typical yogurt either so most of the time I don’t eat it. Unfortunately, sugar and unhealthy fats that make our food taste so good also are not very good for us.

It’s hard to give them up – I get it.

Recently, I was headed to a friend’s party where I knew there was going to be a lot of good food and snacks. I began to look around for some healthy options and discovered this awesome Ranch Greek Yogurt Dip For Veggies!

I kind of follow the Weight Watcher’s eating plan and find it really easy to enjoy foods we like to eat but in a healthier way.

Veggie dip with Greek yogurt and ranch packet

I said it right there. This veggie dip with Greek yogurt is made using a ranch dressing packet! How simple.

Open the non-fat Greek yogurt and give it a stir. Sometimes it can be watery when you first open it – that’s normal.

Dump the packet of Hidden Valley Ranch into the Greek yogurt container and mix well.

For best results, make ahead and refrigerate for 6 or more hours so flavors blend together well. Better tasting if made 24 hours ahead of time. Of course, if you need to serve this Greek yogurt dip right away that’s fine too.

I needed (ok wanted) a ranch dip to go with my raw veggies that I like to have with my wraps I was making for my lunch for the week. This was the perfect ranch dip for that! It makes quite a bit and would be awesome to serve at a get together. Guilt free but doesn’t taste guilt free!

1 packet of ranch dressing in 0 cal yogurt, makes a great low cal dressing.
2 Tbsp servings = 6 cal. Whip/whisk for a great texture for salads, (also good for things typically dipped in reg dressing: chicken nuggets, pizza etc)
Ranch has always ruined the attempt at a low calorie meal when added to salads but just changing the yogurt to fat free regular yogurt (I use Plain Dannon or store brands) only ads SIX calories to your whole salad. That’s less than adding a carrot (of course a carrot is healthier because of vitamins and fiber but it does have more calories 😉).
