Bargain Find Friday – A little decorating
Today’s Bargain Find Friday comes from one of my favorite stores…TJ Maxx. I actually had to travel a bit to get to one of their Homegoods stores, but it was worth the trip. I went looking for a small table to put in my foyer next to a new chair I had just bought from Pier 1.
I unexpectedly found this beautiful small dresser there. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it and knew I had to find a place for it in my home. The size of the dresser would not make it right for the foyer…so where could it go? It just so happened that I had this beautiful metal framed mirror in my bedroom that looked a little lonely as it was the only thing on the wall. Imagine my delight when the dresser fit perfectly underneath it. It is just perfect!
Mostly having a mirror finish, it also has silver/gold wood trim.
On the front, there are mottled swirl patterns on the drawers and doors.
This little table is what prompted my journey and it was well worth the trip. I wasn’t sure what kind of table I wanted, but when I saw this I knew it was perfect…I love it.
It is a small hand painted distressed table.
On the top is this hand painted French Chateau.
