Stenciled Burlap Bunny Plaques

Stenciled Burlap Bunny Plaques | Oh My! Creative

Hi there!  It's Katie again from View From The Fridge.  I'm so glad to be back here at Oh My! Creative this month.  Today, I thought I'd share an easy Easter Decor project ... Stenciled Burlap Bunny Plaques. This whole idea started when I found these wood plaques on clearance at Michael's: $2.99 each is a good price ... AND it meant I could use my 40% off coupon on something else (because there's always something else)! If you've seen my project, then you may notice a couple things I love and seem to gravitate towards: Burlap anything  ... Stenciling (probably Read More...

Woodsy Spring Home Decor

Woodsy Branch Spring Kitchen Decorating, Easter Decorating, Eggs,

I really like to bring the outdoors in with my seasonal decorating. Recently, I created this Woodsy Spring Branch Decor over my kitchen lighting. A few years ago I collected a few branches from the woods and spray painted them white. It was more of a dusting of paint, so you could see the darkness of the branches showing through. I usually use them to decorate at Christmas...they look wintery. For some reason I didn't get them out this year? As I started thinking of Spring decor...the branches came to mind! I added a few "budding" spring branches to the real ones to give it a Read More...

Spring Centerpiece And Table Style Using Scrapbook Paper

scrapbook paper spring centerpiece

Create a simple Spring/Summer centerpiece for just a couple of dollars! This is perfect for any Spring event you might be having...a Bridal Shower, Mother's Day or a Ladies Lunch! Super easy and not very expensive to make. I started with a white latice sheet of scrapbook paper and a single bunch of flowers both purchased at Joann's. Using a straight edge and an x-acto knife, I cut the scrapbook paper into strips as the pattern repeated itself. I had a little gingham ribbon, that I wove through the paper, to helped secure the paper to the vase. First, Read More...

Sunflower Peep Brownies

Sunflower Peeps Brownie

It's not too late to run out and get a few boxes of those Peeps. We have all seen the Sunflower Peep cake. So cute and easy to make...see it at Taste of Home. My daughter wanted to make this for our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, but I felt cake was not easy to serve standing out in the yard. So we made Sunflower Peep Brownies instead. Just as cute and easy to eat. Sunflower Peep Brownies I used a 9" round cake pan to bake the brownies, then laid the peeps on top so I could pre-cut the brownies. After removing the peeps I spread the icing over the whole top. Then Read More...
