Not only is Courtney creative with projects for her home, but she likes to create amazing parties as well! A girl after my own heart! I love a good theme party!!

How adorable and creative is this Very Hungry Caterpilliar Party she created for her son’s first birthday?!?

Hello! Katie here from View From The Fridge, and I’m super excited to feature my very first bloggy friend, Courtney, today! She has created an awesome blog, Crafts By Courtney, where she writes about kids’ crafts, DIY parties, and home projects. Her hubby Clyde even chimes in on the blog once and a while offering some helpful technical bloggy advice (he works as a web designer).

Courtney is also a mom to three boys (hooray for boys!), and just recently moved to North Carolina (from sunny Florida) to be closer to her family. Her and her husband Clyde are both very creative and love photography. Check out their three adorable little ones:

When I asked Courtney what her favorite part of blogging was, she said inspiring others to be creative. She is a strong believer in getting your kids involved in creative activities. Her blog is full of great ideas to do just that.

Courtney and her family have lived in North Carolina for just about two months now and she is already busy making her new house a home. One of my favorite home decor posts of Courtney’s is this Sofa Table Makeover.

I just love Courtney’s style, and doesn’t that picture look like something out of a magazine? Perfect color, just the right amount of distressing, and beautifully styled!

Another one of my favorite projects of Courtney’s is this DIY Wooden Pallet. She created this from scratch for only around $10 worth of wood (and again, it looks perfectly styled in her home).

Courtney is a huge fan of Pottery Barn (who isn’t?), and I love this Watercolor Palette she created for their craft area inspired by the {much more expensive} Pottery Barn version.

She also created that colorful Watercolor Resist Artwork above with her boys. After seeing her post, I actually tired this with my boys, and they absolutely loved it!

Along with her fun kids and home crafts, Courtney is also SO talented when it comes to DIY parties. Whether it’s kids birthday parties, holiday parties, or parties ‘just for fun’, she comes up with the most creative and unique ideas! One of my favorite of her parties is this Dinosaur Birthday Party she threw for her oldest son’s 5th birthday.

Courtney doesn’t just create kids’ parties, however. This Easter party that she hosted last year is simply amazing! I can’t believe how many cute and crafty details she incorporated into this one party!

Now, speaking of holidays, Courtney has you covered there, too. Here are just a couple of her fun holiday crafts to inspire you year round:

So … are you inspired by all of Courtney’s creativity yet? She continues to amaze me every week with all of her ideas. I’m so thankful to have ‘met’ Courtney. Her and her hubby Clyde have helped me immensely when trying to find my way in this blogging world.
