Non Alcoholic Mimosa Mocktail

There are so many reasons this time of year to host a brunch! Maybe you are hosting Baby shower, bridal shower, Easter or any Spring event! I do this most mornings to reduce the calories of my orange juice. I found that I liked the fizz and the slightly different taste of the juice, so I think it makes for a perfect Non Alcoholic Mimosa Mocktail!

Often times at a special occasion you will have a few people who don’t drink or maybe the “mom-to-be” at her baby shower who wants to feel like they are included in the celebration.

Well, I think this is a perfect solution – plus it’s lower in calories than other non alcoholic mimosa mocktails that use ginger ale.

I pour about 2/3 juice in a glass and top of with non flavored seltzer water. It gives the drink plenty of fizz and adds a little different flavor. To reduce more calories do half orange juice and half seltzer water. Beleive it or not, the seltzer water does give the drink a little different flavor. I really enjoy it!

Pick a few flowers from the garden and tie with a pretty ribbon to accent the glasses.

  1. I do this… All… the… Time!!! you know, to feel fancy during my pregnancy and give myself a little change from the copious amounts of water I drink. I use Perrier (and the green glass bottles are so pretty to use as vases afterwards!) Plus, add the sparkling water to grape juice or cranberry juice.. and it’s just as delicious! And like you said, half the calories! The flower is such a beautiful touch!
