A great craft for your next dinner party is this fun Glitter Leaf Napkin Rings tutorial. As you have probably noticed, Mod Podge has become one of my go-to crafting products. I’m sure if you are a crafter, you use it and love it too. Now they are introducing a new line of Mod Podge Rocks Peel n’ Stick Stencils created by Amy at Mod Podge Rocks! Using the key stencil, I created these Glitter Leaf Napkin Rings. They are easy to make and perfect for Spring or throughout the year!

I used the key stencil, but there are six stencil patterns to choose from. These are ideal for customizing your napkin rings! You can do this fun tutorial, or use them to create all kinds of fun patterns on cloth, plastic, or wood! You can buy them here!
- Dried or Decorative Leaves
- Mod Podge Key Stencil
- Mod Podge
- Mod Podge Spouncer
Place the stencil in the center of the leaf and using the spouncer dab on Mod Podge. Remove the stencil and sprinkle with glitter – let dry. This will be the top part of your napkin rings, and will be placed onto a burlap ring in our next step.
Don’t forget to wash the stencil to remove the excess Mod Podge. After it is dry return it to the backing sheet. Here are step by step instructions on how to use the stencils. They are really simple to use and so versatile for tons of crafting projects, but especially useful when you want a crisp detail!
Cut burlap into your desired width and length – mine are around 2 1/2″ wide – to create the actual napkin rings. Remove a few strands of the burlap on both sides to create a fringe look. Glue burlap ends together creating your ring then center and glue the leaf in place. Pretty for any occasion!
You can easily customize these for holidays by purchasing different colored burlap, or using glitter in holiday colors. This simple and fun napkin rings tutorial is truly an easy craft anyone can manage. Mod Podge makes it so much easier to attach the glitter to a decorative leaf, and leaves no messy edges from trying to use glitter glue.
Glitter Leaf Napkin Ring
This glitter leaf napkin rings tutorial is a great choice for a fun dinner party, or can easily be used for any holiday meal. I even love the idea of making these and putting into a gift basket with some decorative stemware, beautiful cloth napkins and a bottle of wine to gift to a friend as a housewarming gift. I’d definitely use decorative leaves for that!
