Chocolate Crinkle Cookies – Chocolate Snowball Cookie

It wouldn’t be Christmas without making Chocolate Crinkle Cookies and Cookie Recipe Exchange! Today, I swapped cookie recipes with Rachel from {I Love} My Disorganized Life. I made her Chocolate Crinkle Cookies and she made my Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookies!

These cookies bring back memories of when I grew up. I basically learned to bake with my best friends that lived next door. They bake what seemed like endless amounts of cookies each year including the Chocolate Crinkle Cookies. Although, I think we called them Chocolate Snowballs? Always happy to join in and learned the correct way to mix and measure…so very important when baking! I’ve had my share of duds that got dumped in the trash due to an ingredient mix-up! Fortunately, the Chocolate Crinkle Cookies turned out great! Their soft chewy texture along with a dusting of powdered sugar make these a perfect holiday sweet! Yum!
